December proved to be filled with festivities and as everyone knows, the month brings us an extra desire to be a better person, to value each other more and to appreciate others with gift giving and spreading joy!

Our staff enjoyed many games and prizes and awards for a year well done! We celebrated with decorations and lunches and even had an end of year feast at our local Country Club.

The giving spirit was at a very high level among our staff! We pitched in and collected funds and toys for the Toys for Tots program. We volunteered at our charity food and toy drive at our Winter Wonderland which has been providing a Winter village complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, petting zoo, pony and train rides and a nightly stage show packed with a vast variety of local talent!

December celebrated the completion of my 12-week training in the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy where I learned and participated in the gamut of services that our devoted Sheriffs provide to every citizen of our county.

I made many friends on the force and so many other citizens who were with me each and every week to participate in the action!

Continuing on the radio, spreading the news that is positive and filled with good deeds is something I enjoy each Tuesday. Broadcasting LIVE from WTAN 1340 AM and 106.1 FM, CES sponsors the program called The Talk of the Town. Each week you can hear me (and see me on Facebook LIVE) at 5:30-6:00pm talking about what’s happening that is worthwhile in our community.
I hope you join in some time.

We are thrilled to close out the year with many smiles and happy staff. We really are honored to work in a company that truly gives back to the community.

May you also be so inspired. The world needs us all!

Happy New Year to you!

Lynn
